watch Horror TV Segment

Hey guys,
I'm producing a segment called "Horror Movies on DVD" for a public access show. We're mixing the mainstream with some of the indie stuff. Check it out.

Just watched Horror Movies on DVD - Featuring Josefine Allain and the audio is bad, it sounds like she is standing way far away from any type of mic, that voice over guy (guessing it's a guy) is just stupid and bugs me every time I hear it. What was with the swaying she Josefine was doing? I see no point in that. The background was nice except for the part were you could see two metal handles and a faint grow around Josefine. I feel with description of the plot should come a short review of the movie. There is potential for it just needs the kinks hammered out.

I think a less is more approach would come into good use, but in general (as Buck is saying) I would:

Tackle the sound issues.
Refine the green screen work.
Maybe design or find a simple "Better" set/background imagine.
Write a script template for the opener and ending (To add the films to each time)
Worry about the evil voice last.

It's okay now (I guess), but with a little work it could be cool.

-Thanks-

Check out Penny Dreadful's Shrilling Shockers online. She's a dear friend of mine, and a horror movie host (with a very large following).

This show will give you an idea of how playful you can be with host/ess ideas and how to introduce films and do reviews and previews.

I think Josephine is very attractive, and might do well dressed up like a different archetype every show...or one character?

It thought the CG intro was OK, but needs some work. More detail. Better virtual camera work (the way it takes the corner is a little odd).

The VO was a bit annoying, as already mentioned.

I like where you're going with this. It's a fun concept, but takes a lot of work to do right.
