I watched a documentary called Official Rejection a few times this summer (wanted to show it to others, so I re-watched with them
) and it made me wonder just how many people actually get into the "big" fests. I could probably peruse indietalk but thought that this topic might deserve its own thread.
I submitted my first short film earlier this year, but I honestly don't think it will get in anywhere. My second short only runs about three minutes in length and it's a lot more "polished" compared to my first attempt.
So, to sum up, how many of you guys have played at prominent festivals? And if so, what was the film?
i.e. Sundance, SXSW, Toronto, Cannes, Slamdance, Tribeca, etc.
