nope, not spielberg. this guy only made 4 movies but he won several awards.
 
Let's bump this thread up.

Here's another clue for my grab. The grab is taken from a security feed the owner of the house is watching as another car pulls up next to his, parking at a 45 degree which hints at the conflict and juxtaposition of their characters.
 
I've got no idea what yasha's or Ernest's is.

Here's a large clue to my last grab:

Between the two main characters, Michael Caine plays the older one this time as opposed to playing the younger one as he did in the original movie which was based on a play.
 
Time to resurrect this thread, for some sleuthing.

Name the film that Jean-Luc is watching. Here's the catch -- I don't remember! I think it was an indie movie.
