looking for a Filipino line producer

Hi

I am trying to get a low budget horror feature film financed. It is to be shot in the
Philippines and am looking for a line producer who can help me raise
money for this project and put the project together. I need someone who is pretty good with sales. I do have a business plan which I am working on now. And all the contracts and paperwork.

I just finished the script and am just doing a little polishing on it,
but it is almost ready to go.

I already have a Director of Photography and an Editor attached to this project and some actors.

Not only that I also have a director of photography and an editor who are attached to this project.

Just to give you more info about me, I am a Los Angeles based Filipino
photographer and filmmaker who graduated here with a Bachelor of Arts
in both Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University
(famous alumni include: Tom Blomquist, writer and producer of the TV
show, "Walker, Texas Ranger"; Milcho Manchevski, director of the
Macedonian/British feature film, Before the Rain, the producers of the
Naked Gun series, and others).

After having been a photographer for many years, I now want to go back to
filmmaking (which is my other major. I was a double major in college:
commercial photography and film production). To prepare for it, for
the past few years, I started writing feature films and also did
another short "Java Love", in addition to the 16mm student films I
made when I was in college.

Also even though back in college I had taken screenwriting courses, I
started taking more advanced screenwriting workshops and seminars with
some of the top mentors here in LA. Not only that, with the new
digital technologies, I also started taking other filmmaking workshops
such as Basic HD 24P Workshop. Besides that, I also did courses in the
business of filmmaking because i know that it is not only an art (an
expensive one, I say) but also a business.

I have written at least eight screenplays and continue to write more.
My scripts genres include: action, sex comedy, love story, thriller
and others. A lot of the settings are in the US, but some of them are set in the Philippines or could be set in the Philippines.

I do want someone who is very serious about this and who can be my
partner in future projects in a long term basis. Maybe for this first project, there is not much compensation since it is my first feature, but if it gets distributed, you do get profit participation.

Send me an email: cpr1120@yahoo.com with your resume and about
yourself. The candidate should be able to speak Tagalog. He or se does not necessarily have to have a film
background, but a background in business is preferable since this
project is kind of like starting a business. He or she has to know how
to do a business plan, profit projections, marketing and other
business skills. Also he or she has lived or currently living in the Philippines and can do the logistics of putting a project together (location scouting, getting location permits, finding a crew and others).

Thanks,
Christopher Revon
