Are their any good multi-mic windjammers?

A windjammer than can fit on any mic really, and is adjustable perhaps? If not, then is their any that can fit both on NTG-3 and the 4053b, that do a good job? Thanks.

I have a RODE blimp that I have used with an NTG-3 and many other mics. It has several diferant size MIC clips. It is great and a good price. I also love their boom pole.

A dead cat doesn't work without a blimp. It's just soft and need the structure of the blimp to form it's shape.

A softie is a big piece of foam with a hole for a mic that sometimes has long hairs coming off (like a dead cat) to help deaden wind.

Generally speaking, one of the audio pros can correct me, the blimp (with optional dead cat) is better than a softie.

A dead cat is for EXTRA wind protection or moisture protection when it rains or they are doing water effects on-set. It will muffle the sound slightly, but it's better to be slightly muffled than to have constant wind being picked up by the mic. If you don't need it, you don't use it. However, once you've started with the dead cat you continue to use it after the wind dies out so the sound remains consistent.

As I have mentioned in other posts, the higher quality you get the less it will affect the sound.

3. in that matter, particular, or respect: His proposal looked good there.
4. into or to that place; thither: We filmed there last year.
5. (used by way of calling attention to something or someone): There they go. Let's film them!

Okay thanks. I thought the deadcat just went over the mic. I will get the road blimp then, if that's a good choice. Does it come with different sized mic clips or do I have to buy those separately?
