I haven't posted to indie talk in a short while. but I am Dom, a fifteen year old director who makes films for a YouTube channel called "Black Slate Media".
This is my newest short film, A story about a young boy who wakes up in a field all alone to find that something of which he yet doesn't understand has forced almost all Mainland United Kingdom citizens to be evacuated.
My main focus of this film was to create a surreal but beautiful atmosphere, coupled with a gripping, if somewhat falsely secure story. I hope you enjoy the short film (9 minutes) and I would like if you were to give advice on what to improve in the future.
