2.5 minute shots compressed into 10 seconds each.

CAMERA MATH:
I knew I didn't have a whole lot of time to shoot, plus the camera battery was about depleted and could poop out on me at any time, so I knew I wanted short shots compressed down to tiny time spaces.
Ten seconds each oughtta be a good target. Who knows how many clips I could shoot before the battery died? This made knowing source shooting times a pressing issue.

Camera set to shoot at 30fps (closest to 29.97 NTSC frame display rate, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTSC#Frame_rate_conversion.)

30fps x 10sec (final goal) = 300 frames, per final 10sec clip.

I knew I wanted a 15X compression rate, meaning only every 15th frame would be used.

300 frames x 15X compression = 4500 frames needed, from raw source clip.

4500 frames / 1800 frames per minute = 2.5min of shooting for each raw source clip, (plus a few extra seconds for hand jiggling the camera turning it on and off.)

Audio track is an almost random selection of uncompressed real-time site audio, edited only for time.

I also tested out panning the camera to follow a few subjects. Feedback on that effect would be appreciated!
