IndieTalk is a proud sponsor of The Indie Gathering.

ALL IndieTalk members receive a discounted submission fee of only $25 for a film or screenplay. Submission deadline May 10.

This is a unique event.

Every submission is eligible for the competition.
Every submission gets a weekend pass (screenings and lectures).

There is no selection process. If you send the $25 and your film, it will be screened, and will be eligible for a prize (unless there is a huge amount of entries and they are not able to screen all, but if this happens, they said they will add screening rooms).

This is a gathering of the indie community. Network, party, relax, attend lectures and screenings, all for $25... with a chance to win a trophy and prizes.

If you win the top prize (overall winner) in any of the four categories (filmmaker, actor, writer, fight scene), you will win an IndieTalk Premiere membership (in addition to other prizes the festival gives out). If you already have a Premiere membership, it will be extended one full year!

To receive the discount, simply mention IndieTalk in the fee area of the submission form.

SNOH COUNTY: A Hillbilly love story: Episode one: A different type of folk

I think I will enter. It will be my 3rd entry. I'm tired. My script is almost a diamond; in my eyes. :coffee:

So no here's my question. I just finished a full-length feature and am wondering if it's a help or a hinderance to festival a feature before presenting it to a distributor.

So who's here going to be attending this event?

I'm giving 2 free lectures and also organizing the panel discussions scheduled, some I'm even moderating :)

Johnny

Just an update, this event was very enjoyable, for the whole weekend, EVERYONE networked their asses off (literarily speaking) over 250+ people attended each day and it's just such a great synergy that everyone really had a great time, I was very impressed the amount of good people in town and from out of town that came and mingle for the weekend, this is the biggest event ever held in Ohio and it was good! So now we are all looking forward for next year ;)

Johnny

Johnny, I can't seem to find my ass. I lost it somewhere south of Cleveland. I networked my ass off & I can't find it.

...To Skin a Cat took home 2nd place in Short - Comedy out of 17 films. :woohoo:
