I'm in the process of tweaking the script that I'll be filming this fall. I know that I've to use "day" for day scenes and "night" for evening'night scenes. I've several scenes where the main character has to be wearing same clothing so I've used "later" on several occasions. Does it matter really or I can just write "day" and leave it to the production manager/script supervisor to sort it out?
