Currently helping a friend out with a short of his, as production designer. Looking to have some form of "Congratulations!" banner hanging in a doorway near by in the opening shot, off in the background.
When it comes to buying a banner for scene (no logos, copyrighted terms, names, or trademarks on it), bought through a generic party store, and using it on film. Is any sort of release necessary?
