Stalker Photographs

I am currently producing an inde film in which a girl is being stalked. For the opening credits sequence we want to produce some photographs that look as if they have been taken by the stalker.

The kit we have access to is a canon EOS 400d digital SLR, a 70-300mm telephoto, a 18-55mm standard lens and a 580EX flashgun.

Any photograph ideas / tips?

cheers,
SMITH

take photos zoomed in from far away... stalker would probably be standing somewhere where they wouldn't be detected easily, so plenty of foreground clutter, windows, whatnot. The images would also be more fetishistic than situational due to the motivation of the photographer, so tighter images of the face than say a private detective who is more interested in the setting and the activities than the person specifically.

Knightly makes some great points. I agree. Perhaps also have the setting be some place personal to her. A stalker would want to use the camera as a tool to feel closer, and as such would take pictures of her in a very personal setting like a bedroom

Shots through windows definitely add a creepy feel. Not that you should rip off other movies, but American Beauty had fantastic stalkery shots, even if they were video.
