QuickTime Player Discasting

Hi.

I'm a new at this forum, and I thought I'll start with by telling about some things I've been doing.

Discasting [dɪs'kʌstɪŋ] is a web show hosted by two very different individuals, me and Erno, a gay, alcoholic cock. The show represents the ideas, interests and creations of these two as they stumble through their abnormal lives.

Three episodes are out now and more is coming on a monthly basis. At least one per month, but sometimes more depending how busy I've been with at the time of editing. Here links and descriptions of three first episodes:

1. An inspiringly put condemnation
The first episode of [dɪs'kʌstɪŋ] deals with some premature "fanmail" and shows what´s coming in the future.

2. All About Erno: The Basics
It's good to start All About Erno with some basic stuff about his life, friends and adventures! You´ll get know some things about him and also meet one of his best friends, Katja.

3. Finnish Coffee
The most famous of Finnish drinks is Finnish Coffee, which is also a magic trick. Apparently it's not as easy to make as it seems. But no matter what, the drink is bloody marvellous!

The last one here is the only episode yet in HD. Developing of the show started almost year ago and as a result, I tought I need a better camera. One day I found a guy who sold very little used Canon HV20 with a reasonable price. Because all new material is shot now with it, you can expect more HD episodes in the future.

I think this is enough blaa blaa from me now. It's your turn now.

Trash Hour S01E01 - Turkish Star Wars

New episode is out now! What could be better way to start a new series of bad movies than review of one of the worst movie ever, Dünyayi kurtaran adam, aka Turkish Star Wars! Find out how it manages to be quite entertaining despite of being absolutely horrible rubbish that leaves the whole humanity to shame.

Youtube version in HD here:

If you prefer higher bitrate and better quality, check it out on Vimeo:

As always, all kind of feedback is more than welcome. Untill then, see ya.

It´s good to know that it annoyed someone even that much. If my videos create even minor bleeding of rectum to someone, they´re definitely worth all the trouble.

Idea Erno Gets Lost: Booze Cruise!

Let's see if you find this one terrible. Some seem to find improvement, but go on, rant if you wish:

It's Erno's turn to choose the destination for the next adventure! Because his spirit cellar is almost empty and the Finnish government is about to raise the tax on alcohol once again, in August of 2009 we will go to Tallinn. It's time for a traditional Finnish booze cruise!

It was better.

Better camera work, decent graphics, wasn't that messy. I say good job.

The actors speaking is still bad. Theres no emotion and some of it is hard to understand.

It wasnt very interesting to me, was more like an informative doc then anything. Which isnt bad, just not too interesting for the most part.

Booze Cruise Yet Untold & Finnish Plunging

Two more videos of Discasting have come out. One is a mini episode telling what happened right after the booze cruise, second introduces Finnish plunging.

This time it's mini episode (Yet Untold) which reveals a bit more what happened right after the booze cruise. Erno's favourite drink for a picnic is also introduced!

The traditional Finnish plunging technique helps to unclog any toilet, no matter how badly its clogged with sticky turds and other uninvited objects!

And thanks for your comments, CDCosta. I'm trying to do my best on every possible field and learn from my mistakes. Have to develop my voice, acting and of course - spelling with enough intonation. Probably gotta improve it forever, as English is not my native language.

Trash Hour S01E02 - Capcom Campiness

The second episode of Trash Hour is out now! This time I'll review two campy Capcom's games of Dreamcast that I consider as good examples of games that are indeed cheesy, but also fun to play!

Had some issues with the sound quality on the first Trash Hour, but now got a better microphone. Probably will re-record the first one some day.

Tallinn Binge Whinge and All about Erno: Friends

Hey there.

Looks like I haven't updated this thread even though I have at least two unposted videos. I'll start with the most recent because it is more ambitious, was more time consuming to do and is overally much more wacky episode. Therefor I present:

Gettin' Lost: Tallinn Binge Whinge (Disk1)

Premise: in the end of 2009 we must go back to Tallin in order get some booze because Estonia raises the tax on alcohol from the beginning of 2010! But as you can expect from a such booze cruise, everything doesn't go exactly as planned.

YouTube:
Vimeo: http://www.vimeo.com/11364894

And then the other one:

All about Erno: Friends

Premise: Erno has a lot of friends, making it impossible to cover all of them on episode. Instead, we'll meet one particular friend who has even moved to Finland because of him!

Enjoy!

Disks 2 and 3 of Tallinn Binge have been out for some time.

After gettin' rid off Erno, I'll introduce you Tartu, the capital of science and culture of Estonia. I also light up a bit history of Estonia, Finland and Sweden and give some reasons why Finns tend to have more sympathy with Estonians than Swedes.

It's time to get Erno back and do the thing he considers the most important of the whole trip: visit to an ernomous booze store! Along the way I also tell a bit about traditional Finnish pre-christmas parties.

Unfortunately English is language spoken by many non-native speakers.
