Frame Rates

Okay, so im not sure if this question belongs here but...
Is it possible to vary frame rates within a film, or would that look funny
As in say i wanted to film most of it at 24 fps, but then wanted to do a slow-mo section from 60fps slowed to thirty, would that be kosher, or would the difference cause problems? Thanks for the help!

What makes 60 frames per send slow motion is slowing it down to 24 frames per second.

That means 1 second of real time in 60 frames plays at 2.5 seconds at 24 frames per second. Hence, the slower motion.

Your timeline would have to be in 24fps, but your 60fps would be slowed to 24fps, creating slow motion.

Mixing framerates within a 24fps timeline would result in them either being slowed down, or frames dropped to keep them playing at normal speed.
