I am looking for a London editor to work on a film produced in conjunction with Dublin Filmmakers Network. I (the director) am based here at the moment and am looking for a skilled editor to bring the project forward.
About the film: The film centers on a young mother in a council housing estate. Jill is an average person trapped by circumstance. Her boyfriend is a a petty criminal who as got himself in over his head with money lenders. The story is about hope and failure and how we reach out but ultimately stumble back to where we started..
I am looking for someone who can put this together before May 7th, 2014. So that we can enter the film into the Galway Film festival. We already had to drop an editor because they weren't committed enough so really need someone who is self-driven, with an intuitive grasp of the craft that can bring this project forward to completion. The film stars IFTA nominated actress Seana Kerslake.
