Festivals which benefit musicians?

Hi,

I compose for films and am always looking for ways to get my music heard. Ive heard of Sundance and Ghent film festival but which other festivals offer opportunities for composers. Im looking forward to entering the Jerry Goldsmith award 2012 but was wondering if anyone had any experiences, knowledge to share in this area?

Hey Rob! Dances With Films Festival accepts original music to play in between screenings from local artist to original songs from the accepted movies. We also accept music videos as part of our line up and they qualify for an Audience Award and prizes.
