I've just spent the whole day trying to work out who currently owns the rights to old film serials from the 1940's and 1950's. The kind they used to show at Saturday Morning Kids shows at the cinema. I don't have any particular titles in mind, I just want to find a company that owns the rights to a good selection.
I'm guessing that there are a number of companies that still have them on their catalogue/archive.
I'm also looking for the same information for 1940's horror/sci-fi or low budget westerns.
There is method in my madness and I'd appreciate any help I can get in working out which companies I need to talk to.
Any thoughts?
