Rogue Cinema gave Surviving Family a great review a few months ago, and this month they ran a really nice interview with our director and me. It's great to get positive reinforcement!
Its great when you can get a whole cast together that's problem free with schedules and all other issues. That's why I'm going SAG and other union actors and stunt coordinators for future productions. Too much time and money is wasted filtering through non union people who don't take commitment seriously.
When you were doing the test screenings, did you get different feedback from the American test audiences vs the German ones?

the feedback was generally quite similar, which was good.
It's a very dialogue-heavy movie, so it was good to know that the German audience understood the movie without any problem, even though it was not their first language.
