Looking for a screenplay

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a screenplay to direct and I was wondering if anyone could be of any help!

I've tried my hand at screenwriting but just can't get the hang of it so I was wondering if anyone fancied a collaboration.

I'm looking for something original that you can't find in any corner of the internet. I've directed a few theatre productions and a couple of short films that have been silent and unscripted.

Please give me a heads up if you're interested or know of anything!

Thanks

Either to be honest as long as it's something I can get my teeth into!
If you don't have access to (for example) a U.S. aircraft carrier then
you may not want to encourage a writer with a unique, original drama
that takes place on an aircraft carrier. A broad example, I know. There
is a huge difference between a feature and a short - I know you know
that.

But I'm a writer with several scripts. It would help me if I knew more
about what you can make. "something I can get my teeth into" is
just as broad as my example. I have a Sci-fi feature that would require
a crazy amount of real, practical effects and a large cast. I have a very
unique, very original western that needs a train, horses, a stagecoach
and (again) a large cast. A director could really sink their teeth into it.
I can't find financing because of several factors. I know you are happy
to read just about anything we writers will send you. But is it to my
(and your) advantage to send you scripts of that nature?

You've got one. I hope you get many more.

Thank you I guess I should've put more info in but I am really looking for a low budget drama, comedy or dramedy to film.

Thank you though man I'm very new to the site and the process so still finding my feet.

Having enjoyed far more access to an aircraft carrier than I would have liked in my years in the Navy, I would say follow the story. If it's a story that deals with aircraft carriers, you gotta hit the stock libraries or whatever it takes to follow the story. You have to make yourself look like a complete fool in public at least 3 times.
