Slideshow with Music

Is there a cheap program where you can create a slide show over music? I always do it by one at a time on FCP, cut to beats and add silly transitions. But, is there something for a PC that's cheap that does basically the same thing?

In AEFX you can drop entire sequences of clips/stills into the timeline, and it will stagger them (each on a different layer) by a pre-determined measure of time.

That kind of thing? :hmm:

Yes. Is it expensive? Is it something a computer illiterate person can use easily?

I think that's something you can do with Windows Movie Maker, which is about as basic and dummy-level as you can get!

Thanks. I found a site KIZOA that allows you to do it for free.

Some guy had hired me to create a slide show, because he liked the way my slide shows were more in tune with the music then most. But, in the end it didn't work out for him getting everything together. So, I wanted to point him in a direction where if he gets to the proper point, he can do it himself.
