My name is Ping-Wen, 2nd year graduate from LMU. Now I’m doing a 15 min short. The pre-production already begins and the film will be shot in the mid of Oct. This story is about how a brave gay woman understands what she really wants in her relationship with a married woman. In the story, she’s forced to hide in a closet to watch how the woman she loves enjoys the sweet time with her husband and kids. She can’t help herself but all the beautiful memory about this relationship goes through her brain at the same time. She shouts in no voice, breakdowns, and finally gets exhausted. She finally realizes and gets the answer to her relationship……
We’re looking for a production designer for this project. We’ll rent a furnished house as the location so it won’t be too much work about set dressing. However, the closet will be a very interesting part for this project. The closet should look like real in appearance but inside it’s a both realistic and fantasy space.
Also, we’d focus a lot for character design. The main character, she is a gay woman, and also an artistic painting teacher. Another main role, the housewife looks like a normal housewife but has strong love passion in her inner side. We want to build up all our characters through costume, make-up, hair style, tattoo to their props (like smoke or other accessories). We’ll have professional make-up artist on-set but we need production designer’s idea for the blue-print for designing these details.
