Fire demolishes everything

VIEW THIS MOVIE

The wind starts blowing fiercely and the next thing the flames start standing up and simply rolling like waves towards Kevin Sweefarend and Majoor Blaffinski. They will have to flee! They jump onto their motorcycle. As they ride, they see that they didn't even notice that fires have been started in many other places too. Will they even be able to get home? Meanwhile, things are chaos at a small village in Leeukopkraal, where the fire is destroying homes like sweetcakes. Everybody is running around crazy, and somebody bumps into Sarie who's trying to save a few of her posessions. Her things fall into the flames and the heat makes it impossible to pick anything up. Sarie wraps herself in a blanket to try and shield herself from the flames. But where is Wolkop? Is he being consumed by fire? Fortunately Workboy comes and drags her away from the fire. And luckily, Wolkop who was sleeping, joins them. He doesn't even know where all this fire came from. His clothes are burning on his arms, and he tries to beat it to extinguish it. Sarie is very upset, looking at what is left of her home, which is almost nothing by now; just a tower of flames. Meanwhile, Kevin and Majoor Blaffinski are trapped by the fire too. Kevin climbs up a hill and tries to see how to navigate through the fires. But the sight he beholds is frightening!

Lol, you sure love noticing the look of things eh?

In that piece, one camera was a Hitachi and the other a Canon.

We didn't go for any look really; what you're noticing is the technology evolution.

We started the series filming on VHS-C then VHS then S-VHS then 8mm then Hi8 then MiniDV then HDV then HD, next will be 4K (some parts already filmed with GoPro 4K camera) then 8K and so on, as these slowly but surely become available to us.

So throughout the series the technical quality just naturally keeps getting newer and newer. It's just how the technology takes us.

Enjoy what you dub the 80's look because it will later disappear and all there will be is flawless perfection.
