Compared to other film projects, how difficult is it to get Errors & Omissions insurance for a film that uses Creative Commons-licensed assets?
We are producing an animated feature film. While much of the content will be produced in-house, we plan to supplement it with artwork, models etc. created by outside artists who released it to the public under the CC1 or CC0 license. Do E&O insurance companies recognize Creative Commons licensing, or do they shy away from it?
