Hey guys,
We're a bunch of very talented filmmakers at Birmingham City University, and we're producing a really ambitious short film that we hope will blow the doors off the expectations of what students can make, and hopefully make a dent in film festivals. It's a story that questions rules and regulations that exist in society.
Absolution is a story that revolves our lead protagonist, David, a discouraged office clerk who coasts through his mundane, unfulfilled life. He's been screwed into the job he's already doing, and there seems to be no way out.
On one peculiar day, he observes an unusual act from a mysterious deliveryman who fools around in his place of work. Drinking away his problems in the evening, David bumps into the same man, Axel, who is convinced that you shouldn't live life by rules - that we were born as individuals.
Axel then leads him on an obscure journey of liberation and self-discovery.
