Dead in the Water Out Now!

Today marks the release of Dead in the Water throughout North America! Go to your local video rental or retail store and pick up a copy. If they don't have the DVD demand it!

You can also order online through Amazon or Barnes & Noble. As of today we are currently ranked #7 in Amazon's Independently Distributed Horror category.

The film is also available at Blockbuster and Netflix so if you're not the gambling type rent it!

So tell your friends and neighbors and lets make Dead in the Water one of the top indie film releases!

Let me know if it's in. Only a couple of stores here in Chicago have it. If you do manage to pick it up let me know what you think of it.

Blockbuster has it listed but once you queue it it says On Order. Not sure about Netflix. What I think happened was the DVD's were being pressed, printed and assembled the Thurs. or Fri. before the Tues. release date so rental places didn't get their copies. Hopefully this week.

Also found out that in 60-days the movie will become available on iTunes and Unbox as well as other digital purchase and rental outlets.

I've seen it at Hollywood Video. Don't know if the midwest has those stores. I thought about renting it but passed it for another film I wanted to see. Maybe I will rent it. I think it's "On Demand" as well. I could have sworn I've seen it advertised.

I think it's a different Dead in the Water since, from what I've been told, Indican isn't providing Hollywood Video any copies of their films since HV filed for bankruptcy. And if it's On Demand that's considered television and that isn't in our current contract. If you find it please let me know.

International Distribution

So I'm told by our sales rep the agreements are signed so it's okay to share this. We have a new place for distribution. Dead in the Water has found a home in the UK.

Excellent! It's fun to have been able to watch the project develop over the past couple years. Added to netflix cue.

Hope you enjoy it more than the average Netflixer. I saw one review there that criticized it for being low budget and other for having a story. Interesting that the critics who have reviewed it like it but the average joe out there doesn't. I blame the torture porn formula of todays horror.

Anyone here who has watched it I'd like to hear your thoughts. I trust your judgements more.
