horizontal tearing lines veags 12 queston

I got a better way to ask this question As i posted it a few times but didn't really know how to explaine it but i found out what to call it.

My issue has been a
horizontal tearing lines in the preview window

any suggestions on how i can rid my project of the plague? i used a canonvixa hfg10 and 20 for this project
I wish i could show you my screen shot of my settings as i think it may just be a simple setting fix but when i try to import an image it says "import URL" and nothing shows up.

any ideas on how i go about this evil "horizontal tearing lines"

very lightly in the final rendering. but i figured it out. the problem is my computer isn't meant to do the things i'm making it do so i am just gonna final render it on my friends beast computer

No sirrr. no interlacing problem but you're right it does sound like one. Problem is im cutting this movie on a very very very basic computer with video files that are just not on the same level with it so I end up with video tearing. Took me forever to figure out what the problem was.

google image video lines tearing. that's what's happening.
