How does this fight scene look with frames taken out?
I showed it to some more people and asked for a more broad opinion, and they said they can tell when frames have been taken out, or tell that it looks like it has been 'sped up', in sections. A lot of pro movies do this, and I got the idea from movies such as Braveheart, where they talk about it in special features. But perhaps I should do more, to make it look, real like add motion blur? Here's the scene:

Sorry, I am unable to help. I was too busy laughing hysterically at a ninja getting the crap beaten out of him by a middle-aged woman.
Could you tell me at what seconds in the duration should I be looking at?

Oh he's not a ninja but just more average home invaders. The frames taken out are at 0.39, 1:18, 1:35, 1:44 and 2:10. Thanks.

dude, that was pretty awesome! I watched without sound, so make the sound rock on that and you got a good fun scene bad lighting and all! I SAW A STORY! Great job.
Cut frames are working good, try even a few more. Specifically the bats looks a bit slow on velocity.. I think you could lose a couple shots all together.

Okay thanks. I actually tried cutting out more of the bat before, but you could tell it was cut. It skipped ahead. But my friends say that the you can tell that the knife in the head looks sped up, and I should perhaps add motion blur or something.

the ADR sounds really obvious. But decent editing and stuff.

Thanks. Which parts sounds obvious or how? I haven't finished them making them sound like they are in the same room yet, if that's it.

Cuts were almost flawless good job, I tried to be serious but from 40 seconds onwards it sounded and looked like a disturbed porno made it worse when my gf came out the bath and was like wtf are you watching.. It was when I said it wasn't a porno she was surprised...

Okay thanks, maybe my friends were looking too hard... Hmm... Thanks for your assessment on the porno sounds lol. I tried to get the actors to ADR their grunts and screams as best they could, but nothing I can do about that, as I attempted quite a few times and that's as good as it got. If it's that bad should I throw music on top and just silence it?

as I watched with out sound, the whole sequence (minus dialogue bit of course) could be treated like a music vid.. Find a local band with a hard hitting track you like and ask them to use it!
