Is this a legit festival? - http://wcff.org
The fees are on the high side:
"Short (1-29 minutes) is $35.00, Feature (30-60 minutes) is $75.00, and film over 60 up to 90 minutes is $115 per film entry. Application is for one film at a selected film festival. Discount entry for multiple films and/or to all five-film festivals." - payments through wire transfer only.
I also read some bad things about the founder of the festival:
- http://julietchapman.com/blog/2009/04/02/the-latest-on-mr-gervais/
On the other hand, it seems that the festival has happened before, but it looks like a very amateur event at first sight.
There are only a handfull of festivals about wildlife and therefore I would like to be sure it's not worth it at all before discarding it.
Anyone heard about it?
