Safest Way To Clean Monitors (Speakers)

Hey guys,

I have two KRK Rokit 6's and they get incredibly dusty. I don't think I've properly cleaned them for the last few years. Has anybody got any tips on how to clean them properly without damaging them?

You won't believe how much dust is already in there. So, unless you can open the back of the speakers, you don't have much choice. I have used Q-Tips to clean up the worst of it, then use the compressed air to blow off the rest.

When I first bought them there was something rattling around on the left speaker so I opened up the back then (Totally caught off guard at the weight of the back panel). So I might open them up and give them a little hoover if I can.
