Need to protect my DSLR from moisture

I am traveling to a humid jungle environment (80% humiditiy) for a doc shoot and am concerned about my cameras (5D and 60D) and lenses. Does anyone have a good trick to keep them working. If the cameras go bad I'm in big trouble as there are no resources available once I am there.

I've heard mixed things about the silica gels.

Thanks for any assistance that you can give.

A big issue is going from a cold air-conditioned environment to the heat & moisture. Im here in Houston TX, USA where 90 + pct humidity is common. Main thing try not to change lenses in the humidity would be my biggest advice. If you can when nearby seal up some dry towels and when finished in the rough, store the cams inside the dry towels sealed in a heavy ziploc for the return trip and then expose them to AC when back and after the temp balances, then open up to cool air.
