60fps or Time Remap

Hello.

I'm shooting a scene where a man comes out of a car and is about to shoot someone.I want this to be in slow motion.

But shall I shoot it in 60 fps or 24 fps and then use time remap ?

What's the difference ? I've seen some Time Remaps and they seem to be pretty good .

The reason why I don't want to shoot it in 60 fps is because I'm not sure I'm gonna make the slow mo good. And If it turns bad I have to remove the whole scene .

Dumb question but .

You definitely don't want to use 24fps for slo-mo. It looks like crap. Shoot 60fps, and if you end up deciding to keep it in regular-mo, there's no reason why you can't use the 60fps footage (the extra frames will just be dropped, and it will look just fine).

Or, as Steve mentioned -- shoot both. I mean, how long does it take to shoot a guy stepping out of a car?
