Sony f3 base plate help!

I just purchased an F3 and found out it only has 4x 1/4" mounting threads on its base plate. All my quick release plates have a 1/4" + a 3/8" thread. Is this just my specific f3 or are they all like this? Is there a aftermarket base plate I could buy? Any help would be great.

I have this:

http://www.abelcine.com/store/Elemen...ulder-Pad-Kit/

Which gives you two 3/8" threads. You can then use a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter for your other screw - whether that stays on your F3 or your screw is up to you.
