These two shorts are not done in the traditional doc format that most are familiar with, but instead are made more as character studies done without interference from the person behind the camera. In a way, both films could also be considered as nonfiction short stories: Rusted Waters being about a film crew getting set for a production and Tree People being the many vignettes that go on at a Christmas tree shop.
