Just won a ME66 w/ k6 on ebay that claims to be practically unused...selling because they had gotten a better mic. I got it for 270 after shipping. There were only 2 other bids on it. Either I just got a major score or I'm missing something. Me thinks/hopes its a major score!

I hope that you have the right to return it. Not that it's a bad deal; it's a good solid mic. I just can't see someone selling it for a "better" mic even if they really are spending a lot on the new one; I would keep it as a back-up. Just put it through its paces right away to be sure that there is nothing wrong with it and be sure it has the correct capsule.

* - the mic is a tough little SOB, so unless someone poked out the diaphragm or it's not the K-6 capsule it looks like a three pointer!
