Cameras

Any Ideas on what camera of the three is the best?
Panasonic AG-HVX200A
Panasonic AG-HPX170
Panasonic AG-HMC150

Any recommendations?

The 170.

The 170 and 200a are virtually the same thing but with the 170, ur shooting only on P2 cards and with the 200a u can shoot on tape as well.

But if ur on a budget and can not afford the 170, the 150 comes in close in terms of image quality.

You'll want at least two cards per camera, because when one is full you can switch and have a data tech dump the first.

And yeah, the reason everyone is asking "two cameras, are you sure?" is because most shoot with one camera at a time on a film set. Multi-cam is great when you can pull it off, but you need more crew, lights, setup time etc.

Not a huge fan of P2 cameras, but whenever you do multiple cameras on the same production it's ideal if they're all the same. I'd stick with two of a kind.

Yeah the main reason I want two cameras is mainly for a back-up i understand I will mainly just be using one for each shoot. Just want to make sure i get the best one.
