8mm Film

I'm pretty young, and therefor grew up in a digital age around digital technology.
I've only ever filmed on digital cameras with SD cards, but would very much like to give 8mm a try.
When one of my relatives passed they left two, working, 8mm cameras(not Super8) and I held on to them.
I would very much like to take them out for a "test run" and see how well they work, but I had a few questions.
1.) Where does one obtain regular 8mm film?
2.) Where/ how could I get it developed/converted to an uncompressed digital format?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

The folks at Prep Film Services here in Michigan are nice to work with. Here is their price sheet:

EDIT: Been awhile since I've utilized them; not sure if they still have raw stock for sale, or if they just offer processing. But give them a call...they are friendly.
