Sevenoak cheap slider ?

Hello I was looking at cheap sliders when I saw Sevenoak SK-GT01 .


At first I thought this would be the worst slider ever made ,but then I saw some test footage and it looked pretty good .

So I was wondering if I should get one .

It's basically another variation of an Igus linear rail used as a camera slider:

They're ok, for what they are, but the "drylin" tends to get sticky over time - meaning that you'll find unwelcome, variable, drag.

They are best used if you are just placing the camera itself on there, additional weight can make the stickiness worse.

It's a love/hate thing. I love them for their portability and low cost, I hate operating them though.
