Hey, so I totally support your right to make a religious film (in fact I'm kinda-sorta making one right now), but for it to be so overt I think it'd be more appropriate for you to tell us that upfront.

And that, actually is my main critique of the film. In my opinion, there isn't enough nuance to the religious message, and so it feels like it's just being banged over our head. I think your desired message would be much more effective if you found a way to deliver it through symbolism or metaphor, so that the audience can think things through instead of just reading text.

I do think it was shot very beautifully though, so hey, there's that!

Keep on making movies. It takes practice!
