watch Sci-fi Trailer for XYZ Docs, 3D /real footage mix

Here's a Trailer I made, for an upcoming sci-fi, comic short movie, which I made for fun and for trying out different animation and video techniques and software, using both 2D, 3D and real video footage. That will show more in the full film, which I'm still working on.

This is pretty good animating. I mean there is always room for improvement. I think that for a trailer It needs more action. When people watch action/scifi trailers they want action. For instance, showing why the alien is bad. So show it upducting, shooting, destroying, etc. And also there are things that don't make since. How the action figures came to life. What the blue obilisk was. Of course we don't have to know everything about the film. But giving the viewers clues really help. For instance A scientist making something. Then you see that he made these 2 action figures. Then show your clip. Does that make any sense?

Thanks for good Points! Actually, I came to think about it later, this is not really a trailer in its true meaning, it is more a prologue (it will be the opening prologue in the main movie). So, I will also have to edit a true trailer. And then I hope there will be more of the ingridients you pointed out, like higher pace, short clues of action, and a Little more meaning revealed. I hope I will have that ready by the new year or so. So I will upload it here then hopefully.
