The only real trick was; I was the only one on the road that day. So I had to shoot footage of myself in a parking lot, and footage of an SUV driving by, mask us both out then composite us both into some hand-held footage I shot.

It was insane windy that day so sound is a little rough.

Fun video, the body disappeared too fast IMo, but well done in all areas.

So you were in front of a greenscreen then ?

The vfx itself was pretty good.

The vehicle sounds are totally not selling the effect, though.

Good overall.

The body should fold up onto the hood a bit. The bones that provide the rigidity would break on the impact and the main mass of the body is above the waist, so it would try to stay in one place and actually get pushed up and forward by the windshield rather than getting bowling pinned over by the grille.

The comp itself is really well done. Just physics is missing to sell the reality.
