Part of my film requires the nudity of a full figured woman in a sex scene. Finding someone to perform this role has been very challenging (we finished principle photography for the film in September). The traditional channels, mandy and craigslist have turned up nothing. For months I've tried contacting BBW escorts, but they have flaked every time (I've even gone to their apartment buildings to pick them up). I'm getting pretty desperate as I'll lose access to the location in nine days. I'm not sure if there is a type of casting agent I could get in touch with, but any ideas would be appreciated.

Have you contacted some of the other craigslist advertisers for the same to see if they could recommend someone?

Always meet them face to face before the filming, that helps with people being less flaky.

is to look up local modeling agencies. I did a quick Google search
out of my own curiosity and found several in Toronto.

There are tons of models out there that will do nudity or even porn. My guess is you're probably not paying enough. What's the day rate you are offering?

Yarp. I was thinking the same thing as everyone else. It may come down to $. Doing it for art might be a tough sell, poor motivator.
You might try ModelMayhem. There are models and actors willing to do nudity, like dready said. But you'll probably need your own account there to participate, search, or contact a model. And that means having some serious (enough) work to show which management approves and that shows you're, well, serious and legit.

Getting accepted may take some days, but it's a huge modeling/photography communitiy.
Out of curiosity, what is the average rate for nudity in a film? Or is there not one, and it's more of a case by case basis?
Here in L.A. the going rate would be in the $250/$500 range.
I know women who wouldn't do it for five large. I know women
who will be a body double for $100.
I know this isn't part of your original post, but I just want to throw out there that you make sure that the actual actress who was in the scene knows that you are going to simulate her being fully naked in the scene I am assuming you already filmed with her. Most likely she knew that going into the audition, but just in case, I would highly advise you to let her know.
I know a few actresses who have been really upset when they attended the premiere of the indie film they shot and is now in a festival and they suddenly are sitting in a audience that now thinks they have all seen her fully nude. And they had no idea this was going to happen.
In fact, I know of two instances this very thing happened. In one of them, the actress made it very difficult for the filmmaker afterwards. The film finally got distribution, but it was a very difficult time for all involved.

Sometimes it's intentional. The pool for a GREAT actor who also willing to do nude is small. The pool for people willing to do body double nude for $100 bucks is HUGE.
