Offering Discounted VFX to Indie Films

Hello,

I have been working as a VFX artist in the TV and Commercial world since 2001, with a few films mixed in there for good measure... And I am a commercial director as well.

Recently I've had a desire to just work on something fun. If your indie project needs VFX shots you just can't pull off, then I am willing to offer my services at a SUBSTANTIALLY discounted rate. I am a VFX generalist and can do most anything from 3D, particles, comping, tracking etc... I do title design and graphics as well. If you need an idea of my work just check out my VFX website.

I won't be able to help on every project that comes my way. It has to be something I believe in, with good production value etc.

lets get straight to the story.
inspired by robert rodriguez, i'm an indie film maker. so i tried making a short film . it's project - "the soul". so it all got messed up. i shot ,directed & edited it . everything's fine. but everything's green .

So i'm on a sinking ship , the general idea is to abandon the ship. but i'm in the middle of an ocean . i set out sail on this ship for particular destination . i just can't take rescue from any other ship that comes across.

Howdy,

I'm afraid your project is not in need of a few shots, but rather the entire thing keyed and comped. This is not something I can undertake. Here are my suggestions.

1. You need proper tools to help you key correctly. I use Primatte in After Effects, but Keylight (which comes with After Effects) is a fine keyer as well. I also highly recommend the plugin set "key correct" from Red Giant.

2. Do some tutorials on keying properly. videocopilot.net is a great place to start.

3. Your footage with all of the wrinkles in your green screen is going to give you problems, but they can be solved with some extra effort.
