A Great Read For Science Fiction Buffs

Here is a book that really got me interested in space and astronomy.

It is one of the best books available on suns, planets, the expanding universe, black holes, and white dwarfs.

If I could do it all over, I'd become a solar scientist. Absolutely remarkable what that giant ball (99.86% or the solar system mass!) of fusion does on a daily basis. Not to mention all the other stars out there and their incredible diversity.
Google "plasma rain", and check out videos from SOHO or STEREO or SDO.
I hadn't heard of this book, thanks. I'll be sure to track down a copy from somewhere.
