Lenses for a Canon 7d

I'm gonna be picking up a Canon 7d to shoot my first short. What reasonably affordable lenses would one recomend I get. Probably don't wanna spend more than $200 per lense. Any suggestions? Thanks guys!

Sweet man. Again, the 24-70's are great lenses for a medium range.

Or, for $280 get the 85 Rokinon prime and for $490 get the Rokinon 35mm prime, both superb video lenses and close to the same price as a 24-70, but you have some low-light options.

So hard to make a choice isn't it?

I'm honestly not saying this for self promotion, but if you look at our latest short in my signature we're using an 85mm Rokinon, a 24-70 Canon 2.8, a Canon 50mm 1.4 and a Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 lens. All the really wide glide cam stuff was the Tamron, the other shots were a pretty even mix of Canon 24-70mm and Rokinon 85mm and just a few of the Canon 50mm.

Tons of test videos available online too of you want to see them in action!
