Where must shots be placed?

Shots are an amazing support for the pictures and story. However, I haven’t any idea where they must be placed. So, could you explain it to me, please. Where must those be placed?

I can’t wait for answers.

@mlesemann Well, they should be in important scenes. For example, we got a scene with a student and a teacher. There you can, when the student feels suppressed by the teacher, write that the teacher is devilish with an up shot and let he/she laugh evilly. The student is then in a down shot how he/she quakes with fear. So, where shall I put it!

Have a nice day,

In the screenplay you do not write where the shots are placed.
Not even for important scenes.

You can write that the teacher is devilish and has an evil laugh.
You should not write how the camera will shoot that.

If you believe that shots should be written in the screenplay then
how you choose to do it up to you. If you want an up shot and then
a down shot - write it that way. It is incorrect screenplay format
but it's your screenplay. Write it how you want it.
