Looking to practice Editing

I'm looking for Raw Footage to practice editing with. Does anyone by chance know where I could perhaps find some to maybe edit together a sequence? I'm looking to edit footage to gain more experience editing.

Find a local amateur production. Volunteer to be an assistant editor. Learn everything you can from the editor. In your spare time practice.

1) Find a song you like

2) Find a DVD you have, that suits the song

3) Make music video for song with footage from DVD

Stick to action movies.

The audio wasn't very good on some of the clips but I guess that could help you figure out ways to use the sound from good clips and put it with other video clips and what not.

Ditto on this one... I've been doing this in my spare time just to get practice. Working on some music videos that won't be seen by anyone but me.

I would have no idea how to find an amateur video production. How should I look?

Go to kickstarter and/or indiegogo and do a search with your city name in it and search for productions like that. Facebook can also help with the right searching in your area.
