Vimeo squishing your movie
Do you mean your picture is 16x9 but Vimeo isn't letterboxing it; everything is sqeezed into a 4x3 frame?
Vimeo has no facilities for widescreen as of yet. You'll need to output a version specifically for uploading to Vimeo using the following settings:
Square pixels and a ratio of 872x480.
