Best Budget Video Camera Tripod?

I am looking for a decent tripod for my film work. I have a little $30 one but I'd like another one.
My price range is about $40-100. Any suggestions help

Thanks!

crigslist and ebay.

$100 bucks get you some great stuff.

My huge headed quickset.. $100 on ebay.

Just quick check of my local craigslist..

Or this monfroto and bogen head for $85

need I go on.. :)
Yes, buying used tripods is generally the way to go. High quality tripods last and last, and you can find some of the really nice higher end tripods close to your price range used.

Failing that, the Slik 504QF-II is apparently really good.

I agree with wheatgrinder about looking on craigslist and eBay - I managed to snag a Matthews M25 for about half the list price. I'd much rather have used semi-pro gear than brand new consumer stuff.

Really

Ebay or craigslist?

eBay, don't have Craigslist in the UK! Was very lucky really - searched for it specifically on eBay a few days after I first heard about it, and there was an auction ending in a few days time. I haven't seen a used one on there since, mind, but you might get lucky seeing as they're produced in the US.
