Need Updated Final Cut & Pro Tools

Nevermind. This is actually pretty cool, though most of you will never be in need of this.

I have a 500gb HD in my MAC G5 (earliest version). To get the net to work correctly I recently had to upgrade from 10.3.9 Panther to Leopard 10.5.8. But, my Final Cut Pro 4.5 and Pro Tools 6.8 would nolonger work.

So, this is what I did today and it worked.

I backed up everything on an external HD. Then I erased and put back Leopard 10.5.1 and then partitioned 150gbs to that HD. I then took the remaining 350gb and created HD-2 and put Panther 10.3.9 on it.

Now, when I want to use any application I restart with Panter, for the Net and e-mail Leopard.

Who knew?

I'm really unfancy. 10.3 worked great for years. 10.5 was needed for youtube/comcast/myspace. If I didn't update I couldn't use any of those sites. It's just a way to get more money out of everyone.

I seem to have fucked myself with Pro Tools. I have everything working properly but Pro Tools. I can't find the Authorization Code. I remember not too long ago getting a sure fire one from the net. But, I can't find it anymore. I can't find my original. I'll keep working on it. But, everything else is great.

I have got some luck. At another site I asked about the Authorization Code for pro Tools, and someone directed me to where I could find it. I did.

But, the really weird thing; I opened Pro Tools and was waiting for it to say "Enter Authorization Code" and it didn't. It just opened automatically. Has anyone ever heard of that happening before?

Piracy is bad, M'Kay.

You do have Soundtrack Pro if you have final cut, I've found myself liking it better than ProTools just due to its interface. There are some drawbacks with its performance with HUGE projects, but I've built some really complex stuff with it:
