Nevermind. This is actually pretty cool, though most of you will never be in need of this.
I have a 500gb HD in my MAC G5 (earliest version). To get the net to work correctly I recently had to upgrade from 10.3.9 Panther to Leopard 10.5.8. But, my Final Cut Pro 4.5 and Pro Tools 6.8 would nolonger work.
So, this is what I did today and it worked.
I backed up everything on an external HD. Then I erased and put back Leopard 10.5.1 and then partitioned 150gbs to that HD. I then took the remaining 350gb and created HD-2 and put Panther 10.3.9 on it.
Now, when I want to use any application I restart with Panter, for the Net and e-mail Leopard.
Who knew?
