ALL DAY DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP - NOV 5, 2006

Cleveland, Ohio - Independent Pictures and Media Design Imaging are
proud to present the wildly popular 7th Annual Director of Photography
Workshop 10a-6p on Sunday, November 5th at IDEASTREAM, 1372 Euclid
Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. Workshop cost is $75 (must be paid in advance)
and includes lunch the day of the workshop, a tour of Ideastream, and a
free pass to the 2006 Ohio Independent Film Festival for the rest of the
week.
Join us for an all day workshop on filmmaking. Learn techniques and
experience the different directorial viewpoints of three Director of
Photography experts, Robert C. Banks, Jr, Adam White, and Matthias
Saunders. Participants will be involved in a hands-on experience as each
DP is given a raw script, a bare set, and basic lighting and grip
equipment, and is faced with the challenge of creating a film. Each DP
will create a lighting design with volunteer assistance (participants)
as crew or cast, then record the results on 16mm film, 35mm film film
(courtesy of Kodak, Inc.) and in HD. The film will then be processed and
screened the next weekend at the 2006 Ohio Independent Film Festival,
Cleveland Public Theatre's Gordon Square Theatre, 6405 Detroit Ave. in
Cleveland, Ohio.
Enrollment is limited so reservations must be made and paid for in
advance. Send your $75 check (made out to Independent Pictures) to OIFF,
1392 West 65th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44102 along with your name,
address, phone number and email address. The deadline to register is
November 1. Bring notes, dress casually, and come to a relaxed
atmosphere to learn and network.
