PAUL and SHIRLEY WATANABEE arrive at their destination, a shoddy apartment, tucked away in the surly infamy of East Hollywood. After an hour long quest, they obtain the key. Upon their entry, they are astonished to find the furniture deceased and everything lock, stock and consummately matched, like a detached catalog. Corporate labels riddle the cleaning, cooking and personal hygiene products; forcing them into a psychosis of containment. After a day of discomfort, they try to escape, but find that they are forced back into the apartment doomed to bathe in harsh whirlpool of consumerism forever.
